Thanks for visiting my site. My name is Dina Newbert and I am a quilter, Quilt Judge and Quilting Lecturer. In my free time (LOL) I enjoy my children and grandchildren, belong to a Book Club and serve on my local Environmental Commission. My aim is to help preserve the art of quilting by acknowledging excellent craftsmanship through Quilt Judging, programs and workshops; offering guidance that will leave participants feeling rewarded by the experience or by the prize!
I'm available for Quilt Judging, Quilting Lectures and Consultations (either live or virtual). If your quilt guild is looking for a judge for your show, or if you're a new guild and want to know how to set up a quilt show, or if you would like to know how you can take your show to the next level by having a judged show, please reach out to me by phone or email (contact information above). I'm happy to help however I can!
It has been a pleasure to work with you on the Historic Cold Spring Village Quilt and Fiber Show Project. From the first contact you have provided professional support and a willingness to adapt to the challenge of taking the show virtual platforms. Thank you so much for your prompt response in judging the Cold Spring Brewery Trapunto Challenge. It will be announced tomorrow. Please feel free to cast your vote in the three categories, after all you are a quilt lover too. I hope to catch at least one of your presentations. Be well.

Thank you, Dina, you did a great job. It was good to have guild members display their prize winning quilts.
I would recommend this Leader/Lecture/Workshop to other quilting friends.

Voice well modulated - loud enough to be heard all over this large room.
I learned a few pointers after all these years.
Thank you for an entertaining evening. Well done!

Excellent presentation. I knew where you were going with your presentation. I judge at the state 4H presentations so I feel qualified to say the above.

You arrived in a timely manner and appeared composed and ready. You looked GREAT! You were well dressed; not over or under done. You appeared to observe every suggestion on my handout to you. The folks running the event were very pleased with your presence. DHQG has had candidates observe in the past and you did so well, they will continue to welcome others. Thank You! I am so proud of you and hope you continue your effort toward certification. I thank you for making me proud, good job!

My name is Dina, aka the Quilt Concierge. I’m obsessed with all things quilting. By day I have a full-time position. When I’m not doing my day job, you can find me quilting, Quilt Judging, Quilt Lecturing, studying to become a NACQJ Certified Quilt Judge and working for my Quilt Guild. I enjoy sharing my passion and knowledge of quilting. In addition to quilting I serve on my local Environmental Commission and belong to a Book Club.
For approximately 16 years, while raising my family, I’ve been learning how to express my creative side through quilting. More recently, I have discovered my niche – helping to preserve the art of quilting by acknowledging excellent craftsmanship through Quilt Judging, Quilting Lectures, Programs and Workshops; offering guidance that will leave participants feeling rewarded either by the experience or by the prize!
I have been called upon many times to share my knowledge and have extensive experience in public speaking, leading committees, educating quilters and others, and participating in various Quilting Workshops. After completing an intensive 2-day NACQJ Quilt Judging Seminar and receiving my certification I realized I wanted to expand and share my passion on a wider scale.
I would love to connect and learn how I can help you and your Quilt Guild to challenge yourselves to advance your quilting skills. Please hit the Get In Touch button. You can also visit me on FB, LinkedIn and Instagram. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.
